INTRODUCTION TO BAPP
Today marks the day for my first ever blog, which is already taking me out of my comfort zone as I'm used to emailing my tasks and topics to my tutor and keeping it between us. Using this blog allows you and others to view my progress along side with me as I attend the BAPP course.🙈🙈🙈
I had my first Skype call today with one of the module leaders from Middlesex University as I couldn't make the group introduction due to working morning and nights. The module leader introduced me to the course and what BAPP was all about, explaining to look deeper and beyond into ideas. Previously I have studied a Foundation Degree which is mostly written work but for the BAPP I have been told it is more practical which will be a whole different side of work theory to me.
Before my Skype call I read through the Programme Handbook which was emailed to us and it also available on myUniHub. Reading this gave me a faint idea of the course and the call just cleared up any queries I had. I would recommend reading through the handbook before having your Skype call so you're prepared and if you have any questions you can ask the module leader during the call.
Thanks Ronnia -yes you are setting the example of preparing with the handbooks and readers - important with us all working at a distance and so busy- like the term 'work theory' - and also art ideas.
